Scouts

The Scout Association is the largest Scouting organisation in the United Kingdom and is the World Organization of the Scout Movement’s recognised member for the United Kingdom. The Scout association has been around in the UK for more than 100 years and currently there are over 7,500 groups nationally.

UKIM Keighley has been running a scouts group for the past few years, aimed predominately at youth within the Keighley area. The Madina 4th Keighley Scouts group, is run weekly by a range of enthusiastic leaders for children aged between 6 and 16.

The Madina 4th Keighley Scouts group uses a range of activities, games and techniques to help the children build their confidence and self-esteem as well as learning important life skills and leadership skills. Scouts learn how to make good choices and to take responsibility for their actions so that they are prepared for their adult life as independent persons.
